Make Your Review Requests Work Even Better

How to Find Your Google Review Link
Go to Google Maps and search for your business. Click the "Get more reviews" button in your business listing. Copy that link — it takes customers directly to the review box. Shorten it with bit.ly for texting.
Best Time to Ask
Ask within 24–48 hours while the experience is fresh. The longer you wait, the less likely they'll follow through. Text beats email 8:1 for review requests — if you have their number, use it.
Personalize It
Always use their first name. Reference the specific job you did for them — "thanks for having us repaint your living room" feels very different from a generic ask. Personal messages convert far better than mass blasts.
How to Respond to Reviews
Always respond within 24 hours. Thank positive reviewers by name and mention their job. For negative reviews: apologize sincerely, avoid arguing, and invite them to contact you directly to resolve the issue offline.
